Forget simply watching the Shelby family on screen fans can now step straight into their murky world as Peaky Blinders Underworld throws open its doors at London Bridge, complete with live performers and recreated scenes.

Among the famous faces checking out the new experience was actress Helen Lederer, 71, who looked perfectly at home as she arrived to get a taste of the gangster dramas latest chapter.

Sue Pollard, 76, certainly wasn't afraid to make an entrance, turning heads in a colourful statement jacket and striking red floral headpiece as she joined the starry guests at the opening.

And there was no more fitting guest than Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders, whose original vision for the Shelby family has now been transformed from television drama into a real-life experience.

Football star Bethany England was also among those stepping into the Shelby universe, swapping the pitch for the gritty surroundings of 1920s Birmingham as she explored the attraction.

Inside, the atmosphere quickly becomes much more intense, with actors recreating the world of Tommy Shelby and his family as guests find themselves surrounded by tense conversations and suspicious characters.

One scene sees the Shelby clan gathered around a table in a beautifully recreated room, with tempers appearing to flare as one sharply dressed character gestures angrily during a heated family discussion.

The attention to detail is what makes the experience so striking, from the period furniture and wallpaper to the costumes, lighting and props, all designed to make visitors feel as though they have wandered onto the set.

At the heart of the experience is the Garrison Tavern, the Shelby-owned pub recreated for visitors and open to everyone without an Underworld ticket, giving fans the chance to soak up the atmosphere before heading deeper inside.

But the pub is only the beginning, with ticket holders able to venture beyond its doors into a much darker world where interactive challenges, live performances and unexpected encounters put their loyalty to the test.

Actors take on familiar figures from the Peaky Blinders universe, bringing the distinctive swagger of the Shelby family to life as guests become part of their world rather than simply watching events unfold.

The attraction also recreates the kind of lavish interiors associated with Tommy Shelby, contrasting the familys criminal dealings with the increasingly sophisticated surroundings they fought to build for themselves.

As visitors move through the experience, they encounter the different corners of the Underworld, including Garrison Lane, The Bookies, Chinatown and Small Heath Fairground, each packed with its own characters and challenges.

The Bookies gives fans another taste of the Shelby empire, with the attraction inviting visitors to get involved in the gambling world that played such a central role in the family's rise.

And no Peaky Blinders experience would be complete without a suitably intimidating Tommy Shelby, with one actor cutting an instantly recognisable figure in his trademark peaked cap, cigarette and steely expression.

Underworld offers fans the chance to leave modern-day London behind and spend an hour living by the rules of the Shelby family.
