Holly Willoughby admits shes changed since the foiled plot to murder her by sicko Gavin Plumb. And the telly star, 45, reckons things will never be the same since the horror ordeal.
The TV presenter said in some ways shes stronger after Plumb was given a life sentence in 2024 for planning to kidnap, rape and murder her.
But she confessed the ordeal made her feel vulnerable in a way that you havent ever imagined feeling vulnerable. The star said: And I dont think youre meant to test that, that vulnerability. Things have changed, Ive changed - certain things will never be the same.
You cant not change with something like that. And in some ways, I am stronger. And in some ways, Im not.
The ex-This Morning host, who has launched a new YouTube series, also admits shes not everyones cup of tea. But she fired back at critics by insisting they dont have to watch her new series called Together.
Holly told The Times magazine: Im not being forced upon anybody. At least you know that whoevers watching or subscribing now, theyre there because they want to be. I know Im not everyones cup of tea. So fine, watch or dont. You have the control. Its up to you now.
She added theres no autocue and no real script in her new show and the microphones are always live. The mum said: So you get to see a bit of the workings and the goings-on and all that stuff behind the scenes.
And I love that because I feel like thats the real stuff. I hope one day, when the times right and the projects right, that I will go back and do some telly stuff - Im a telly girl, and I love it. But for now, this is what Im doing. And its interesting to explore, to build something.
