Inside Katie Price's acting debut with Harry Potter star and pin up legend

EXCLUSIVE: Katie Price is set to take the movie world by storm alongside the likes of actress Patsy Kensit and Harry Potter stars, in new spoof film Jackie the Stripper

Reality TV icon Katie Price is set to make her acting debut in her first big film which is titled Jackie the Stripper.

The spoof movie, which is being directed by Mike Head, has signed up a whole list of celebs, including the Pricey. We spoke exclusively to one of the stars to find out what has been going on behind-the-scenes.

Big Brother star Charlie Doherty has been hired to play one of the strippers in the movie, called Spinx, and told us more about the new project.

Charlie said: "There are some huge stars in it, Jamie Lomas, one of the twins from Harry Potter who played Fred and George, Katie Price, Patsy Kensit...

"There's a few people in it and like I said, I've been filming in it now for the last couple of weeks, its going really well."

She explained the film further: "The film is all about fun female empowerment. It's basically like all the girls stick together. They're bad a**, they're strippers, they're hustlers, and they don't take no s***. It's basically a spoof of Jack the Ripper, but Jackie the Stripper.

"I think Katie's meant to be an assassin or an assistant to the assassin. That's what Michael said. Patsy is a madam, so she's like a house mum type thing.

"I did do a show reel for a bit of a bigger part, which I think it shortlisted for. I'm not sure if Katie got that or somebody else, but he basically said it's not always down to the acting, it's also their exposure and their influence on social media and stuff."

Charlie took on the role as she was on the hunt to break into acting, and thought the film would be the perfect opportunity.

She explained: "I used to do a lot of reality TV, but I'm kind of done with all of that. I want to go into mainstream acting.

"However, it's quite hard to go from reality TV into filming because a lot of people just don't want to take you on, because they don't see you as a serious actress."

However, this isn't the first we've heard of the project as Naked Attraction star Chrissie Wunna, who was also cast in the film shared some intel.

The Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich star said: "Theres a bit British comedy film currently just gone into production.

"Theyre filming now and its actually called Jackie the Stripper but its a fun, girl empowerment comedy spoof.

"Its an East End comedy. I was cast to play Jackie but only the other day I had to get recast because my filming dates clashed with another film.

"It stars Jamie Lomas, Kimberly Wyatt, James Phelps from Harry Potter, Chloe Meadows and Katie Price. I dont know the roles that they play.

"I dont know who has been recast as my role either but I was meant to be on set this week.

"I know its Katie first big movie role and shell smash it."
