Inside Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan's 'single girly weekend' down the pub

Loose Women stars Coleen Nolan and Ruth Langsford are planning a 'girls weekend' to help them move on from their recent heartache after both becoming single

Loose Women's Ruth Langsford and Coleen Nolan are hitting the town.

The TV stars are gearing up for some serious girl time following a tough year for both telly icons. Last year left the Loose Women pals single again, with Ruth parting ways from hubby Eamonn Holmes and Coleen from Michael Jones.

The bombshell about Ruth and Eamonn's split dropped in May 2024, leaving fans gobsmacked as they called time on their 14-year marriage. Getting candid about single life, Coleen, 59, spoke Woman Magazine: "I think we should! I'm not sure about nights out, but she's gonna spend a weekend with me."

She's thinking of dragging Ruth to her local for a bevvy-filled blast: "We're gonna have a girly weekend. I'm going to show her around and take her to the local pub, it'll be fabulous."

Coleen's been a rock for Ruth amidst the media mayhem of a very public breakup, reciprocating the support she received from Ruth during rocky times in her previous marriage. Chatting to Bella Magazine, she shared: "I support her like she supported me when my marriage was not in a good place," reports the Express.

Adding, "And Ruth was really supportive. That's what friends do. Ruth and I keep in touch all the time. She's back at work now, which is great because I really missed her."

"I don't want to say too much because it's not my business to say Ruth's life, but what I will say from a friend's point of view is, I've never met anyone that has handled something with so much dignity and pride."

Coleen attributes her recent split to her hectic schedule and lifestyle changes, but maintains that she and Michael are still friends. The singer was previously hitched to actor Shane Richie for nine years, and later to Ray Fensome from 2007 to 2018.
