Jack Osbourne slams claims he's 'grossly underweight' after I'm A Celeb weight loss

Jack Osbourne has hit back at claims he is ill and "grossly underweight" after his I'm A Celeb appearance, insisting his four stone drop is "perfectly healthy" for the 40-year-old as he ages

Jack Osbourne has hit back at suggestions he is actually unwell and "grossly underweight" from I'm A Celebrity, being able to hold off his four stone weight loss was "perfectly healthy".

In an expletive-filled tirade, the I'm A Celeb star dismissed the claims as "f***ing insane". The 40-year-old turned to social media on Tuesday to tackle his weight loss journey after dropping from 220lbs (15st 10lbs) to 155lbs (11st 1lbs).

In the clip, he declared: "I cannot believe I'm having to actually make this f***ing video. If I see one more thing written about me saying how 'I'm sick, I'm grossly underweight.

"What's going on? It's f***ing insane. I have lost no weight since I got out of the jungle doing I'm A Celebrity what, six months ago?"

He insisted that the sole change to his appearance during that period was shaving his beard into a "creepy moustache", opening up his face, according to the Mirror. He fumed: "That's the only f***ing difference."

Jack also outlined his weight loss journey: "Now if we want to back up and we want to get real f***ing personal, I've been consistently but slowly losing weight for the last three and a half years. I shot up to about 220 pounds three and a half years ago and decided that I wanted to make some changes, So I did.

"What's the big f***ing deal? I'm five foot eight and a half and a 155 pounds (around 11 stone). It is perfectly healthy."

The star also put his weight loss down to several factors, including rigorous gym training and taking up jiu-jitsu. He has also previously mentioned that quitting drinking and overcoming drug use played a role as well.

His four stone weight loss journey was chronicled on a TV show called Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie. Jack isn't the only Osbourne to retaliate against those criticising their weight loss after several fans criticised his sister Kelly's appearance as she attended the Brit Awards, following the death of their father Ozzy.

Kelly, who was cruelly told she looked like a "dead body" after her Grammys appearance last month, responded: "There is a special kind of cruelty in hurting someone who is clearly going through something." She later spoke out again, this time sharing a post from Aerosmith star Steve Tyler's daughter, Mia, who has publicly backed her amid the backlash.

Mia's post read: "How hard is it to not be a d**k? Public grief is not public property. Grief can change a person. That doesn't make their body a topic for debate...

"Before you comment on someone's body, consider the possibility that they're carrying something heavier than your opinion... It takes real strength to stand in the public eye accepting accolades for their late iconic father and hold themselves together in front of the world...

"The least we can do is show the same grace in return. Kindness costs nothing. Cruelty costs character. It's unsettling how quickly people will dissect someone's appearance instead of honouring their courage.. If you have the kind of energy to comment, you have the energy to be kind. Choose accordingly."
