Kate Lawler has been left calling herself a "broken woman" after suffering a hilarious drunken tumble while celebrating her brother's wedding in Portugal.
The former Big Brother winner, 46, shared the awkward moment with fans on Instagram after taking a spectacular backwards fall from a chair during the wedding reception. Kate had travelled to Portugal to celebrate her brother tying the knot and served as one of the bridesmaids, looking stunning in a figure-hugging dress for the special occasion.
However, things didn't quite go to plan once the celebrations got underway. In a video posted to social media, Kate could be seen standing on a chair while trying to encourage guests to take their seats for the next part of the reception. Waving her arms up and down, she attempted to direct the crowd before bouncing slightly on the chair.
Unfortunately, the movement caused her to lose her balance, sending her crashing backwards onto the floor.
The TV personality was then seen rolling onto her front before family members rushed over to help her back to her feet.
Refusing to let the embarrassing moment ruin the party, Kate quickly climbed back onto the chair to finish what she'd started although this time her dad stood behind her to make sure she didn't take another tumble.
Sharing the clip with followers, Kate laughed off the mishap by writing: "This is why I shouldn't drink alcohol."
She later poked fun at herself again, joking that she was now a "broken woman" as Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On played over the video.
The post left fans and celebrity pals in hysterics.
Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh commented: "Bloody brilliant," alongside a laughing emoji. TV presenter Anna Williamson added: "Pahahahahahaha iconic."
One fan wrote: "You styled it out bloody hilarious," while another admitted: "It's the roll and the styling out that done it for me."
Kate later updated fans with another video after the weekend's celebrations had finally caught up with her.
"Gosh, I'm a broken woman," she admitted. Quoting EastEnders character Ian Beale, she added: "In the words of Ian Beale... 'I've got nothing left'. Three days of drinking, partying, dancing, shouting, eating, and not sleeping... I'm done. I'm done in."
The presenter then relaxed in the car with a face mask on as she headed home.
The light-hearted update comes after Kate recently spoke candidly about life as a mum and the criticism she's received for having one child.
Writing for Metro, she explained: "As the world gets crazier, I've never been more secure in my belief that my family of three is perfect."
Kate, who shares daughter Noa with husband Martin, revealed she originally never planned on becoming a parent before Martin spent six years convincing her otherwise.
"It was the best decision we've ever made," she said.
She also opened up about the abuse she receives for not giving Noa a sibling, adding: "I don't know if it's ever possible to escape mum guilt. All women are shamed over their parenting choices at some point, whether we have one child, 10, or happily choose to find fulfilment without ever becoming a parent at all."
