Katie Price sets record straight on Victoria Beckham 'feud' over Dane Bowers

In her documentary, Katie Price insisted things changed in her relationship with Dane Bowers when he gained more fame through his collaboration with Victoria Beckham

Katie Price said she has no issue with Victoria Beckham

Katie Price has set the record straight on her so-called feud with Victoria Beckham. In her documentary Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, the former glamour model described Dane Bowers as the "love of her life" and reflected on the strength of their two-year relationship.

The 48-year-old claimed their relationship changed after his song collaboration with Victoria, who had been in a relationship with David Beckham for three years at the time, became the main focus of promotion in 2000.

In the documentary, she said: "The relationship sort of changed, as if he [had] something better and I was nothing because it's now Victoria, Victoria, Victoria."

Speaking about headlines surrounding her this week, Katie's podcast co-star and sister, Sophie, informed her about an article claiming she had "reignited her feud" with the former Spice Girl.

Responding to the report, Katie said: "They've got that from the documentary. I'm going back when I was like 20 [or] 21, I'm 48 now.

"I was just talking about the time Dane did a song with Victoria and everything was about Victoria Victoria Victoria.

"And everyone loves it when I go, 'It was all about Victoria, Victoria, Victoria' (with emphasis on the final mention of her name), just because I do that."

The mother-of-five went on to clarify: Ive got no issue with Victoria. Theres no feud between us. Well, I dont know if she has one against me. If I saw her, Id say hello, I havent got a problem.

Dane, who appeared in Katie's documentary, recently opened up about the challenges of dating her in the public eye.

Asked whether he felt the same way as she did about their relationship, he told new! magazine: "Id describe it as puppy love. At that point, you dont really know what a real relationship is. Because it was so intense, in the public eye and in your face, it made it very difficult.

"We did have to tackle a few bits and pieces. Im not one to rubbish my past or have regrets and it was a big part of my life. There were good memories, and bad."

Reflecting on their relationship today, he added that there is "no animosity or anything like that."

Since their split, Katie has married four times, most recently to Lee Andrews.

Lee is understood to have served time in prison in Dubai over alleged fraud. Reports have also claimed he experienced financial difficulties linked to unpaid debts.

He has consistently denied any wrongdoing and rejected allegations that he is a conman.

She said: "As I've always said, Lee has done nothing wrong to me and I've never paid for anything, I've never given him money, I've not paid his bail.

"But, all this stuff coming out, I don't like what he's done to everyone else, that is not acceptable. So I will be finding out what's true and what is not and face it."
