Katie Price's sister slams Lee Andrews' new look after Dubai prison release

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews was released from Dubai's Al-Awir prison last week and returned to social media with a dramatic new look, but her sister Sophie was far from impressed

Katie Price's sister has blasted Lee Andrews' new look including his new head of hair.

Days after his release from Dubai's infamous Al-Awir prison, where prisoners have their heads shaved to stop lice spreading, he was sporting a brand new hairstyle. He showed the new look off when he took to Instagram to speak to his followers. Lee had disappeared for a month, leaving Katie worried her husband had been kidnapped. Instead, he had actually been banged up over debt and fraud claims though Lee denies this.

In a clip posted to his Instagram account after his release, Lee looked incredibly different as he insisted he hadn't been imprisoned for fraud, according to the Mirror. Now, he has 14 days to come up with 69,000, or he risks being locked up again.

Speaking in a preview of next week's The Katie Price Show podcast, Kate's younger sister, Sophie, said of Lee's new look: "No, it's not my vibe." Katie added: "No, but not everyone can pull off short hair."

Sophie replied: "Ridiculous, f****** liberty." Speaking in his first video since walking free, Lee said: "I was taken close to the Qatar-Omani border at gunpoint and was captured by men with assault rifles."

However, Qatar and Oman do not share a border. He continued: "They did slap me around a little bit, the little s****. I was hand-tied, shackled and also with a hood over my head.

"From there I was taken to a black site and I had no use of my phone. From what I know, it was an extended arm of the national guard, and that's all I can reveal at the moment."

Andrews also alleged that he had signed non-disclosure agreements with state security, which prevents him from revealing any specifics. His debts include 26million Dirhams (54,000) owed to a car rental firm, Rotanna Star, dating back to 2022.

The second case that led to Lee's arrest involves a debt of 74,817.50 Dirhams (15,000), allegedly owed to a UAE law firm, likely for unpaid legal fees. Due to Lee's financial obligations, he would need to tell the Dubai CID (Criminal Investigation Department) but he is not an "actively wanted" person.

Representatives for Andrews asked the judge to release him so that he could access his bank accounts to settle the remaining debts. In a statement, representatives said: "The judgment debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt.

"He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment. He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount."
