Lisa Hogan opens up about surprising impact of Clarkson's Farm fame

Clarkson's Farm star Lisa Hogan has opened up about her relationship with Jeremy Clarkson, revealing they are approaching 10 years together and addressing whether the pair will get married

Clarkson's Farm star and former model and actress Lisa Hogan has spoken about the real-life impact of the fame that has come with appearing on Clarkson's Farm.

Lisa, who has been in a relationship with Jeremy Clarkson for nearly 10 years, has become known around the world after appearing in all the series of the popular Amazon Prime television show.

However, despite her newfound renown, she has admitted it hasn't actually impacted her that much because of the nature of the fame it has created.

Speaking to Lucas Clark on his YouTube channel, she said that people were more thankful for what the show had taught them, rather than clamouring for selfies, reports the Mirror.

Lisa said: "I tell you what, the amount of people that come up to the shop and they're just really grateful and sweet about how much they've learnt about farming.

"So it's not that you've tried to be famous or I certainly haven't tried to be famous, but the people that like you are so grateful for what you've taught them. So it's not like you're on the golden screen. I don't really get out much I'm working a lot of the time...so we're kind of in our bubble."

As well as touching on her latest round of fame, she also discussed her relationship with former Top Gear and Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson and how they met, with the pair coming up to the tenth anniversary of when they first met.

Explaining the early days of their courtship, she said: "We were set up, a couple of times on blind dates and either I couldn't make it or he couldn't make it.

"And then I was just leaving a Christmas party and he was like 'No, let's have a drink' and we kind of went from there. This was coming up to 10 years ago. It's going to be double digits if we make it to December."

In a previous interview in June 2024, Lisa touched on the nuances of what people look for in a relationship as they get older. Speaking to the Sunday Times, she talked about discovering how people want different things from a relationship in each of the decades they live in.

She explained: "In your twenties and thirties youre looking for a partner to breed with. Then later on its different. Ive done my breeding, three times over.

"In that sense my previous partnership was a success but now I want someone with whom Im compatible and who interests me. Im not looking for someone who can support me and my family. Its a very different relationship.

In the same interview, Lisa, who was born in Sandymount, Dublin, talked about her love for her home country and how she feels people sometimes don't appreciate where they're from.

She said: I walk around London, marvelling at the beautiful architecture but I dont feel the same way about Dublin. Its beautiful but its home, and I think no one appreciates where we come from."
