Coleen Nolan has opened up about the major changes coming to Loose Women next year and admitted one aspect of the shake-up is going to hit her hard.

The ITV talk show is moving to a brand new studio in 2026, and audience members will no longer be present in the room during filming. For Coleen, who has been part of the Loose Women family for more than two decades, losing the live crowd is going to take some getting used to.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star as she promoted her new tour, Coleen said: The only thing for me that I will miss the most is the audience. It is going to take me ages to get used to not having them there because I think they really make the show. We bounce off them a bit. But we are not going to have an audience.

Coleen has long praised the bond between the panel members and says the idea they do not get on has always been nonsense.

She said: It has worked for 26 years and people try and take it down all the time. Whether it is the media or social media, which I find really sad. Loose Women gets a really hard time and I do not know why.

It is basically the only all female show, and now we have incorporated Loose Men too, and we have every age from 20 to 85 on the panel. But they always try to pit us against each other. They say we do not get on, and that could not be further from the truth. They are genuinely like my second family. They are like extra sisters.

Coleen added that criticism aimed at the show and its stars is often harsher because they are women.

She said: They do not do it with any male shows. Even when they do the male version Loose Men, they do not get criticised for their weight or how they look or whether they get on backstage. It is always women being targeted. I find it really strange, especially in this day and age when women are fighting for everything.

Despite the changes and constant noise around the show, Coleen insists the Loose Women panel is stronger than ever.

She added: We laugh about it now. Because the show is still going. Whatever they are trying to do, it is not working.
