Maura Higgins parties it up before leaving the UK after heated feud with star

Love Island star Maura Higgins is flying over the States to compete on Dancing with the ttars, so she threw a farewell party for her pals that involved some questionable karaoke

Maura Higgins let loose with pals at her farewell party before she flies to the States to compete on Dancing With The Stars.

The former Love Island star has enjoyed lots of success in the US, and recently appeared on the American vesrion of The Traitors. She's now set to appear on Dancing With The Stars - and she's already managed to get into a public spat with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko.

Maura bid farewell to the UK in style, partying it up with her pals and getting stuck into some karaoke that prompted some teasing from TikTok star Luke Hamnett. Maura and the gang posed for some pics and she captioned it: "It's my last day in the UK, love my girls and gays."

The TV star also shared a hilarious clip of her singing and Luke joked that he 'hoped her dancing was better than her singing'. Maura recently called out Dancing With The Stars pro Gleb, saying she doesn't want to be partnered up with him as she doesn't like the way he talks about women.

Asked who she'd like to dance with, she told E! News she'd be "happy with anyone but Gleb [Savchenko]," explaining: "That's only because I'm loyal and I'm friends with Brooks."

She added: "I don't really like the way he speaks about women. I don't really want to spend all my time with someone like that. I'm like, 'No thank you'."

Gleb has responded, saying: "Until I was asked to comment on this story, I'd genuinely never heard of this girl, Maura, so I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over the opinions of someone I've never met.

"It's odd to publicly attack someone you've never even met, but if that's how she wants to make headlines before the show starts, that's her choice. I'll stay focused and leave the unnecessary drama to everyone else."
