The Daily Star: News with a Wink

Meghan Markle believes 'hardest 7 years of her life' are over after sharing sign

Meghan Markle has not been afraid to share her thoughts on social media since she returned to the platform on New Year's Day 2025, including an astrology horoscope predicting the end of a tough seven-year cycle

Meghan Markle has expressed her optimism that the most challenging seven years of her life are behind her, and recently shared encouraging horoscope predictions on Instagram. After a several-year hiatus from social media during her time as a member of the royal family, the wife of Prince Harry launched a new personal account, @meghan, on New Year's Day 2025.

Marking her return after a five-year break, the Duchess of Sussex posted a video of herself writing "2025" in the sand on a beach in Montecito, promoting her new projects and Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. Since then, she has also shared glimpses into her daily life in California with Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet making occasional appearances.

While fans of the royal family have enjoyed seeing what the British royals are up to in their new lives away from the camera in Montecito, California, Meghan's return to social media has also allowed her to be more open with her fans on her own terms. And she appears to be hopeful about the outcome.

Recently, she shared an astrology horoscope prediction on her Instagram Stories, which claims that her zodiac sign, Leo (born August 4, 1981), is ending the 'hardest seven years of their lives'.

The video, originally posted by Astrology is for Everyone, showed two men dancing ecstatically, with the caption: "Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius ending the hardest seven years of their lives on April 25."

The video, crafted by influencers Harrison Keefe and Nepia Takuira-Mita, came with an explanation of how Uranus's movement has allegedly given those with Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius star signs the 'toughest years of their lives'.

The caption continued: "But on April 25, Uranus leaves Taurus. This is the end of a seven year cycle of radical change for these signs. You will finally settle into the version of who you became through all this change."

Reacting to Meghan sharing the video, the person running the astrology account commented: "The Queen herself has been public proof of this transit... here's to reigning again."

Meghan also posted another astrology-related post on her story, which claimed to outline signs that Leos are ready to unwind after a 'tough seven years'. It stated: "The tension between who you actually are and what the world around you was willing to see has been exhausting in a way that is hard to explain to people who have not lived it."

It went on to say: "Your confidence took hits it had no business taking. You questioned your creative direction, your spotlight, your worth. April 25, the pressure lifts. You get the space to just exist without fighting for it."

Meghan and Prince Harry famously stepped back from their royal duties in January 2020, only two years after tying the knot at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, UK. The couple have since welcomed two children, six-year-old Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, aged four.

A year later, on February 18, 2021, Buckingham Palace declared: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have confirmed to Her Majesty The Queen that they will not be returning as working members of The Royal Family." This announcement came a year and a month after Meghan and Prince Harry initially unveiled their intentions to "carve out a progressive new role within this institution.

"While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family," the Buckingham Palace statement read. Speaking candidly about the challenges they've encountered since tying the knot, Meghan spoke about the online harassment and bullying she endured during a visit to Melbourne's Swinburne University of Technology.

"I can speak to that really personally, which is why I like to listen, because it rings true for me in a very real way," Meghan expressed. "For now, 10 years, every day for 10 years, I have been bullied and attacked. And I was the most trolled person in the entire world. I'm still here."

On the same day, Prince Harry also confessed that he'd never desired to be a working royal in the first place, citing it 'killed' his mother.
