Mo Gilligan welcomes first child with fiance weeks after 'hidden' son controversy

Telly comedian Mo Gilligan has welcomed his first child with his fiancee Taia Tulher just weeks after his ex-partner Selina Christoforou claimed he had a 'secret' son with her

Comedian Mo Gilligan and his model fiancee Taia Tulher are reportedly celebrating the arrival of their first child together. The Masked Singer judge and his soon-to-be wife welcomed their little one a few weeks ago.

The pair, who recently got engaged after funnyman Mo popped the question last month, have been on cloud nine despite rumours that Mo has a secret son with his ex-partner Selina Christoforou.

"Mo and Taia have their baby and are in a bubble of bliss. She gave birth quite a few weeks ago now and she has been getting back to normal life," an insider revealed. The couple were spotted at London Fashion Week, with no sign of Taia's baby bump.

"They are keeping their baby's gender and name for just close friends and family but they've been sharing the news of the baby's arrival with people now. Mo and Taia couldn't be happier," the source added to The Sun.

This joyous news follows allegations made by Mo's ex, Selina Christoforou, who claimed in a TikTok video that he is a "deadbeat dad" to their alleged son Rudi. Despite her claims about how infrequently Mo has seen Rudi, Mo has remained silent on the matter, seemingly responding with a post featuring Rudi, reports the Mirror.

Regarding Mo and Taia's engagement, a source previously said: "Mo went the full nine yards in proposing to Taia but kept quiet about it publicly. They have been telling friends that they are engaged and everyone is really happy for them.

"He and Taia are so in love and really excited to be starting a family together. They already live together in London so it felt like the natural next step to get engaged."

Selina didn't hold back as she publicly called out Mo in a viral post, venting: "I just finally posted on Instagram about my son's dad so for your information, if you don't follow my Instagram I don't blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his dad. Very much in quotation marks."

A source chimed in at the time, revealing that Mo visits the baby "semi-regularly". The insider shared: "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful.

"But she wanted to have the baby, despite the fact they weren't actually a couple. She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he's about to become a dad for a second time and he's over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down."
