Molly-Mae Hague has revealed the unusual inspiration behind her and Tommy Fury's baby boy's name Midas and insisted he's not named after the Greek king.

The couple, who also have three-year-old daughter Bambi , announced the newborn's name weeks after he was born during Tommy's fight with Eddie Hall on June 13 and many fans assumed that their son was named after the famous Greek king who turned things to gold by simply touching them but this is not the case.

In her first YouTube vlog since giving birth at the start of the month, Molly, 27, revealed that their son's name was actually inspired by robot boxing film, Real Steel.

The 2011 film, which stars Hugh Jackman and Evangeline Lilly, is set in a near-future world where robots replace humans in the boxing ring and one of the robots is called Midas.

Molly shared: "We have named our son Midas. His middle name is Thomas and his surname is Fury, so hes Midas Thomas Fury.

"We had this name for a boy for quite a few years.

"I saw a couple of comments when the name was being rumoured about how the name originates from Greek mythology because there was a king called King Midas, and he was the king - I believe the story is that everything he touches turns to gold, and I do absolutely just love that saying."

She went on to explain how they came across the name, adding: "The same way Bambi is not necessarily named after the Disney character Bambi, is the same way Midas is not named after the Greek King.

"This is the most random story - I actually found the name from watching a film called Real Steel, which is like the most random film.

"Its basically like Transformers.

"Its the most not me film ever. And I showed my mum it the other week, she was like, This is so like random for you to like this film.

"And I was like, I know, but its actually such a great film."

Molly concluded the story by saying when she was watching the movie she thought Midas was a "really cool, strong name".

Elsewhere in the YouTube video the influencer told her followers she was coping much better this time around and upon reflection believes she had postpartum depression with Bambi

She said: "There's actually no words to explain the difference in how I feel this time around post-birth to how I felt with Bambi, I can't put it into words the difference in this experience versus my first experience having a baby."

Speaking candidly she added: "I feel like a completely different version of myself this time around to who I was postpartum with Bambi, there's literally genuinely no way to compare it.

"A lot of you will know that postpartum with Bambi I truly did struggle so, so much and I think looking back I probably did have postpartum depression to some extent.

"Definitely for the first I'd say three months to six months, I honestly cant remember a lot of that time with Bambi, and feel like I have completely blurred it from my memory and tried to forget in a sad way."
