Only Fools and Horses fans say 'lovely jubbly' as iconic star to appear at convention

Del Boy and Rodney fans are Cwying with joy after a pukka line-up was announced for this years sell out Only Fools and Horses Society Convention.

Two months ago, we announced the 85-year-old Del Boy actor David Jason had agreed to appear one more time at the annual fan fest event on May 9th and 10th in Milton Keynes. But now we can reveal a series of top stars from the iconic BBC1 sitcom are set to join him at the sell out 100 to 450 a pop fan get together at the DoubleTree Hilton this spring.

Among those set to star at the event are Phillip Pope best known for playing perma-tanned speech-impaired singer Tony Angelino.

Other big names pencilled in include Tessa Peake-Jones, who played Dels wife Raquel Turner and Gwyneth Strong, Rodneys other half, Cassandra Trotter.

Also set to appear are Roy Marsden and Christopher Ryan who portrayed the feared Driscoll brothers (Danny and Tony) and Daniel Peacock, renowned for his hilarious two episodes as Mental Mickey Maguire.

Nelson Mandela House fanatics are salivating at the prospect of spending time with such a stellar line of greats including the chance to see stars take part in a Saturday karaoke event at the convention.

Devotees of the long-running show have been meeting for the annual show convention for 30 years to celebrate the much-loved comedy drama written by John Sullivan.

In December we told how lovers of the show were given a pre-Christmas boost after it was confirmed Sir David, will take part in Mays get together in between dates for his sell out spoken word tour.
