A Place In The Sun's Laura Hamilton has explained on the one issue that trips her up on the hit Channel 4 series.
The telly favourite, who cut her teeth behind the scenes on big-name gigs like Harry Potter and The Bill, made her on-screen debut in kids' TV in the noughties.
She then ditched her Nickelodeon gig to broaden her TV horizons. She popped up alongside celeb chef Ainsley Harriott on Real Food Family Cook Off and strutting her stuff on Dancing On Ice and The Jump.
In 2011, Laura landed the role she's now synonymous with, A Place In The Sun, and has been a staple on the award-winning programme ever since. But even at 43, she's confessed there's one thing she's always found tricky speaking Spanish.
Speaking on the Spinning Plates podcast with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, she opened up about how not being fluent in Spanish has been a "big problem".
Laura owned up to not speaking the lingo "fluently", explaining: "I mean, look, there are many places in Spain where people do speak British."
She added: "And it's so bad, isn't it, to say that, you know, they speak British, because it does go a long way when you buy property abroad, or even when you're on holiday abroad, that you actually make an effort and speak the language."
While she confessed that her lack of Spanish skills has been a barrier, she's optimistic about making progress, as she's started to get the hang of it more with each visit.
She continued: "So I am learning and I pick up more each time I go, I think the big problem that I have is, because if I flip between France and Spain, I'm in Spain and then I'll start speaking a bit of French.
"I'm like, oh, no, no, no, no, I'm in Spain. And so, but I can't speak it fluently."
On a recent instalment of the Channel 4 programme, viewers watched Laura explore Lazio, Italy with Kentse and Brian, who fell in love with the region during their honeymoon.
The pair were ready to fork out for a second home in this sought-after locale, setting a budget of 80,000.
In today's episode, Sara Damergi will be assisting Gerladine and Tim in their quest to find a dream property valued at up to 180k, nestled in the picturesque Costa Tropical in Spain.
