Strictly's Gorka makes cheeky bedroom quip that keeps fiance Gemma Atkinson youthful

EXCLUSIVE: Strictly Come Dancing pro Gorka Mrquez made a cheeky admission when his partner Gemma Atkinson was quizzed on her youthful looks at the Pride of Britain Awards

Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Mrquez revealed the cheeky reason his fiance looks so young.

The stunning couple spoke exclusively to Daily Star at the Pride of Britain red carpet earlier this week. Gemma, now 39, revealed she spent her 23rd birthday in the ITV jungle back in 2006.

When asked how she stays looking so youthful, Gorka interjected by saying: "By sleeping with a Spanish," making Gemma laugh. The soap siren also revealed how she stays in shape as she detailed her gruelling regime.

Gemma said: "Training... I don't restrict what I eat, I eat quite well but I eat a lot of food. I try to work out every day even at least for 20 minutes try to sleep and rest where I can. I'm up at 4:40 every morning, then in the gym 5-6 then Mia usually wakes up at 6:30, but I used to do breakfast shows so I'm used to that."

The duo first met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 when she was partnered with his co-star pal Alja korjanec. The pair have been engaged since 2021 and share a four-year-old daughter, Mia, and one-year-old son, Thiago.

Gemma also revealed why she was sure to cover up to meet her Strictly fianc's family for the first time. The TV star said: "When I started going out with you (her partner Gorka Marquez), you said to your dad 'Oh Google her'. And he did, so he saw these (her boobs) before he saw my face.

"So when I first met him I was like high neck jumper going 'Hi, nice to meet you'. But I loved it, his dad is lovely and his mum, they are both so nice. They message me every Saturday of them watching a video in Spain watching the Spanish version of Strictly, which Gorka's on."

In a previous interview with Daily Star Gorka, 34, shared: "It is quite funny actually as when I told my dad who Gemma was, my dad Googled her name. "He said 'She's beautiful' and I then Googled her and the first picture that came up was one of her calendar pictures. So, I was like 'Oh, great...' he laughed.

The pair first hit it off behind-the-scenes on Srictly but their romance didn't flourish until they embarked on the annual Strictly tour, where Gorka admitted they "got close" with one another.
