Soap actress Gemma Oaten has hit back at ex-boyfriend Nick Knowles for branding northern women munters.
The Strictly star, 62, is under-fire for making a series of offensive remarks during an old episode of BBC show DIY SOS: The Big Build.
Former Emmerdale fave Gemma, 40, who was dumped by Nick back in 2016, believes the controversial comments in 2018 could be about her.

Gemma, from Hull, said: I wouldnt be surprised if it was a dig directed at me. Its right that he is getting called out for it though.
It is offensive. Northern women are not munters.
We are intelligent, we are grafters, we are warm-hearted, level-headed, down to earth, funny and caring women.
Gemma previously accused Nick of dumping her like a tonne of bricks.
He is now planning to get married for a third time, to his latest fiancee Katie Dadzie.
But Gemma, who has also starred in Coronation Street and Doctors, denied any bad blood between them.
She said: Ive not watched him on Strictly but I honestly have no bad feelings towards him anymore. Its all such a long time ago. I wish him all the best. I hope he gets married and is very happy.
Single Gemma would love to follow Nick onto the Strictly dancer floor however.
The actress and radio host now runs her own eating disorder charity SEED after beating her own battles with anorexia.
Wanting more mainstream representation she added: I wasnt able to do Im A Celeb because a stupid psychiatrist said Id become anorexic again if I went into the jungle.
That still breaks my heart to this day. It really winds me up that people with eating disorders are not represented in a positive way on TV.
Strictlys John Whaite and Freddie Flintoff have talked about their battles but I dont think theres any other positive representation.
Id love to do Strictly. Id also love to do Celebrity Masterchef to show that eating disorders are not about food, they are about the cause.
Wouldnt it be wonderful to go on and show you can fall in love with food and cooking again.
