Tommy Fury has had to bid farewell to his new family of four as he prepares to square off against Eddie Hall in the ring. However, the 27-year-old boxer is set to demonstrate that his family is never far from his thoughts and plans to unveil his newborn son's name in a touching manner.
It's reported that Tommy is planning to reveal his son's name by having it embroidered onto his boxing shorts for the pay-per-view event this Saturday in Manchester. While Tommy and Molly-Mae Hague have posted numerous photos of their joyful family online, they've yet to disclose the baby's name.
Now, it appears Tommy will reveal the little one's moniker in front of the cameras. An insider has suggested that the couple believe this is the ideal way to officially introduce their child.
Speaking to The Sun, a source revealed it was Tommy's idea, and one that Molly fully supports. They said: "Now the little fella is here it's a no-brainer what better way to announce his name than on his dad's boxing shorts.
"Molly is now obsessed with it she's hoping to be there. They're working out the walk outs at the minute because that's when it will be revealed, with music and blue fireworks it will be cool", reports the Mirror.
With Molly-Mae currently at home with the couple's two children, she provided fans with an update on the youngsters. Expressing gratitude for the recent well-wishes and her well-behaved son, Molly-Mae shared a photo of her son peacefully sleeping on a blue blanket.
She captioned the snap: "Thank you for healing so many of my newborn fears little one [white love heart emoji]. The peace and happiness I feel this time around is something I wished for but didn't know would come."
She continued: "The difference compared to this stage with Bambi is indescribable."
Last week, Tommy and Molly shared the thrilling news that they had welcomed their son into the world. They captioned the monochrome photo: "and then there were 4."
The post garnered nearly 3 million likes and received over 17,000 comments, including from their celebrity pals. Fans had been guessing about the baby's gender, with some followers spotting a folded blue blanket in a recent YouTube video posted by Molly, leading them to speculate it could be a boy.
Molly-Mae previously spoke candidly about becoming a mother at a young age. "I felt like I'd lived so much life by 23, I felt really ready for a new chapter.
"Tommy and I were in an incredible place and to have something that was half him, half me, just felt really special. I've never had any regrets about starting a family young.
"But if I could go back and maybe go again, would I have waited a few more years? Potentially. I would love more days to just sit and do absolutely nothing. They were great for my mental health."
The pair first crossed paths on Love Island in 2019. Despite a brief separation in 2024, the couple now seem stronger than ever.
