She then claimed: "I havent read the book. I do want to hear it because Ive heard its really entertaining. But yes, its gotten back to me about it. Im not saying there were mushrooms! I definitely wasnt passing them out."
In his memoir, Harry recalled that he and his friends slept at the Friends stars house under the impression that she was "on a job" and "didnt mind if they crashed at her place".
The royal then claimed that things got out of hand and a party began at her lavish home.
While the group were partying, Prince Harry claims he noticed the "box of mushroom chocolates" that were "for everybody" there.
Harry then admitted: "[His friend] grabbed several, gobbled them, washed them down with tequila."
Cox opened up about the wild story ahead of her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, which is set to be unveiled today [28 February].
She reflected on her famous former co-stars that she has performed alongside throughout her career and paid them tribute.
She fawned over her former colleague Michael J Fox and said that watching him perform was "the greatest lesson in acting and comedy" as he is "just a master".
The 58-year-old actress first found stardom through her first acting role as Lauren Miller in Family Ties alongside her co-star Michael.
However, her most famous role as Monica Geller in Friends catapulted her to the height of fame and Cox became an instantly recognisable household name.
She spoke of her fellow five Friends co-stars and gushed: "These friendships were at the most important time in my life and we went through so many things together. It just taught me about being there for each other - I know thats the song, Ill be there for you, but its true."
