Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are gearing up for the nuptials of the year, with extensive preparations now in full swing. The extravagant ceremony is just around the corner, with a host of showbiz elite poised to descend on the iconic venue.

Details of the star-studded do have been kept tightly under wraps, save for the rumoured date and location. Now, as the July 3 event draws nearer, lavish new accessories and a hefty security presence have been spotted arriving at the grand New York venue.

Photographs taken outside the venue reveal that both the National Guard and the NYPD were present for a meeting just days ahead of what could be the wedding of the century. It's suggested that the ceremony will need to adhere to stringent security measures. It's reported that guests will be required to sign electronic NDAs before attending, with each invitation individually watermarked.

Fresh images also hint that the ceremony could bring its own sparkle and shine. A red carpet was seen being laid near the garden's VIP entrance, ready to welcome the biggest names in showbiz, reports the Mirror. It's believed that around 100 guests are expected to attend a smaller gathering on July 2, before a larger celebration the following day.

And it's said that the set-up will even feature a castle. Insiders close to the wedding told TMZ that a massive castle is currently being constructed inside a garden at MSG, adding a touch of fairy-tale magic to the couple's big day.

Workers were photographed offloading enormous, shrouded scenic elements marked "Garden Party 1 (Scenic)" and spray-painted "GP" outside the venue. The fresh developments follow The New York Times' earlier report that MSG, which serves as home to the New York Knicks, had been hired out for a multi-day event by Winick Productions, scheduled for July 2-4.

The public diary for the stadium during those dates remains curiously blank, with the following event listed as a Bon Jovi concert on July 7. Applications have also been submitted for road closures immediately surrounding the venue.

The organisers were granted approval to block off the area, alongside erecting a canopy outside. New York City Hall spokesperson Dora Pekec informed US Weekly the permits are in position, but stressed this isn't unusual for events of comparable scale. They explained: "That just means they're going to put proper protocols to make sure everyone's safe and can get around."

Naturally, it hasn't been formally confirmed that this will actually serve as the location for the wedding and could quite possibly be an extremely elaborate smokescreen from the A-list pair.
