Henry Cavill once hinted that sex was the best cardio for getting into shape to play Superman but refused to wear the suit while romping with his partner.
The Clark Kent star, 40, was asked by Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show just how he stays in shape to play the buff superhero, and he had a very cheeky response. At first, Henry would only say: I run. Thats the savoury answer.
But Jimmy pressed him: What is the real answer? prompting laughter from the audience. Henry quipped: I think they get it!, admitting he tries to burn a lot of calories in the bedroom. Opening up more about his fitness regime, he confessed: Generally off movies I tend to be off-season. I put weight on and then lose it again before we start shooting."

The Witcher star went on to confess to The Guardian: There's a blessing in being Superman. You get more attention. But there's also a curse, which is that you'd better f**king look like Superman any time you need to get your kit off."
Perhaps thats why Henry refuses to wear the superhero suit during romps. During the London premiere of Man of Steel, he was quizzed whether he slipped into the spandex suit to romp with his now ex-girlfriend Gina Carano. He scoffed: No! at the cheeky question.
When it comes to romping on-screen, Henry has admitted he isnt a fan. The Hollywood star admitted to getting aroused on set, and slammed uncomfortable sex senes on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. He said: There are circumstances where a sex scene actually is beneficial to a movie, rather than just the audience... [but] I think sometimes they're overused these days. It's when you have a sense that you're going, 'Is this really necessary, or is it just people with less clothing on?'"
Henry went on: That's when you start to get more uncomfortable and you're thinking, 'There's not a performance here. There's not a piece which is going to carry through to the rest of the movie.' Most of the time, human imagination is gonna trump it.
"And so I think it can be a little bit of a cop-out if a TV show or a movie is just filled with gyrating bodies and you're going, 'Okay, but what is this doing for us apart from the idea of, 'Oh, naked person, great'?"

In 2015, the star confessed that he got a very awkward erection while simulating sex with a woman who had spectacular breasts. He confessed to Mens Health: It's happened to me once... and it was very embarrassing. A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn't rearranged my... stuff into a harmless position.
She's basically rubbing herself all over me, um, it got a bit hard. I had to apologise profusely afterward. It's not great when you're in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable."
