The details of the what happens to the estate of The Ring actress Daveigh Chase have been released. She reportedly left a six-figure sum in the wake of her untimely death at just 35.

The Lilo & Stitch star tragically passed away while homeless in June after years of struggling with drug addiction. It was later revealed she had been suffering a sudden and brief health battle with the most severe stage of a HIV infection.

Reports have now suggested that her mother Cathy Chase submitted a request to be the administrator of her daughter's estate on July 8 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The LA Times states that Daveigh died with no will, and is now survived by her parents, who confirmed she was homeless when she died.

The documents revealed the actress had $400,000 (299,500) in assets when she died on June 16, according to the Express. The Los Angeles Coroner's Office declared that Daveigh succumbed to AIDS.

The coroner cited "chronic polysubstance use" as a secondary cause of death. Daveigh provided the voice for Lilo in the original 2002 Disney animated film, Lilo & Stitch.

She also voiced the character Chihiro Ogino in the 2001 fantasy film Spirited Away. The actress was well-known among horror film enthusiasts for her role as Samara Morgan in the 2002 film, The Ring.

Her unforgettable performance won her the Best Villain award at the MTV Movie Awards. She had a recurring role as Rhonda Volmer in the HBO series Big Love throughout its five-season run.

Among Daveigh's other notable projects are Donnie Darko, Beethoven's 5th, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, ER, and Mercy, among many others. Despite her professional triumphs, the ex-child star had battled numerous personal challenges, as outlined by her boyfriend in a GoFundMe set up during her final hours.

Daveigh never had children and didn't marry. However, her supposed boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, had set up a GoFundMe campaign in the star's final days, claiming he wanted to help her "find comfort and peace".
