Zendaya has teased a possible break from Hollywood after a bumper-packed year which saw her star in a slew of movies that have pushed her even more into the public eye.
The former Disney Channel star, 29, has had a busy 12 months, after filming five different films including her role in Christopher Nolan blockbuster The Odyssey. She also secretly got hitched to her husband Tom Holland, ending years of speculation from fans.
Now the Dune star has admitted she needs some time to step back from the limelight and catch her breath. It comes as several other of her movies are set to hit the big screen in just a matter of months.
Euphoria star Zendaya explained her jam-packed year of work commitments has left her wanting to "disappear for a little bit" in a red carpet interview for her latest flick. After also promoting her hubby's movie Spider Man: Brand New Day, the actress said she has some big plans for her time off.
Chatting to Entertainment Tonight reporter Emily Curl, Zendaya scoffed: "Oh girl, nothing. Just mind my business, you know? And stay to myself.
"This is such a whirlwind, and youre kind of like in a new place every second, and your brain is kind of all over the place," she added. "Its fun and Im grateful, and I wouldnt change a thing, but sometimes you need to just, you know, disappear for a little bit."
Zendaya also opened up about the moment her husband told her she had landed the role in The Odyssey. Speaking to legendary chat show host Jimmy Fallon, the star revealed she was first thrilled for Tom after he was confirmed to be cast as Telemachus.
Tom would end up having various meetings with director Christopher, who Zendaya deemed to be one of her biggest inspirations. After discovering there was a script for the film in her house, she simply could not resist.
She said: "So [Tom] had another meeting and he had the script, I may have done a little, you know, peeky peek. I gotta know, there's a Christopher Nolan script in my house."

Keen not to give anything away, Zendaya was thrilled to hear the news Tom had to say, but was left floored when she was told she had bagged the role. She said: "He goes, 'Read this again', and I was like 'Why? We just read it last night?', and he's like 'Read it again, but with Athena in mind'.
"And I was like, 'Yo, stop it right now.' And I was just like, yeah I freaked out. I was so grateful that he got to be the one to tell me. It was so special."
