Zendaya and Tom Holland are now officially a married couple, according to reports. The pair are believed to have tied the knot at a lavish country estate in the UK earlier this week.

Tom, 30, and Zendaya, 29, were believed to have been married for some time after the Spider-Man lead actor suggested they had married in secret. This came after years of speculation the pair had been seeing each other.

But now, it has been claimed the couple have only now exchanged their vows as they allegedly rented out an entire Victorian estate for their bash. The total cost of the party is believed to be around 500,000.

According to the Sun, both Zendaya and Tom splashed the cash for their secret "ceremony" which is believed to have been held on Tuesday (August 4). The pair are said to have gotten hitched at the Beaverbrook estate, located within the Surrey Hills.

The location of the estate is important as it around 11 miles from Tom's hometown of Kingston-upon-Thames. The estate boasts a lavish five-star hotel and has ties with former Prime Minister Winston Churchill, making it an imposing area for the couple to wed in.

Guests and members of staff were allegedly banned from using phones in any way during the course of their happy day, according to sources. This was to stop details from the couple's wedding from leaking into the public eye.

One insider said: "Tom and Zendaya went to great lengths to stop any information or pictures getting out, so neither guests nor staff were allowed their mobiles." However, the move came two months after Tom dropped a bombshell and claimed the pair had already gotten married.

Tom and Zendaya have been a power couple in the world of Hollywood in recent months, starring in some of the biggest blockbusters of the summer. Both Zendaya and Tom starred in the latest edition of the Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Day, but also appeared in Christopher Nolan's epic film The Odyssey.

After first meeting on the set of Spider-Man back in 2016, rumours were rife that the pair had been seeing each other in secret. The duo never officially confirmed anything, but in an interview with Esquire in June, Tom said the couple had already tied the knot.

When asked about concerning AI snaps of he and Zendaya being uploaded to social media, Tom admitted he did not care that his family were left confused at the new photos. Responding whether he had to reassure his loved ones that they were fake, Tom quipped: "No, because they were all there."

The stunned reporter admitted he had no idea that the wedding had happened at all. However, Tom was unwilling to reveal more, simply saying: "That's all you get on that."

The Daily Star has reached out to the couple's representatives for comment.
