Raheem Sterling has found himself a new club after the ex-Chelsea winger left Stamford Bridge last month.
Sterling, who has turned out for Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea on these shores, found himself without a club after he was cast into the Blues' 'bomb squad' over the summer. Reports have suggested that a number of clubs have shown interest in Sterling.
However, Sterling has now signed for European giants Feyenoord, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano first sharing the news. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: "Raheem Sterling to Feyenoord, here we go! Deal agreed with former Chelsea winger.

"Sterling joins Feyenoord as free agent." According to a report from The Sun, Sterling was charmed by Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie.
The Premier League icon was said to be key in convincing Sterling to make the move to the Eredivisie, where Sterling is said to be signing a short term contract. Sterling is also said to be keen to play away from the spotlight.
Feyenoord, who are based in Rotterdam, are currently second in the Eredivisie, pushing for a spot in the Champions League. However, they have already crashed out of Europe this season as they finished 29th in the Europa League group phase.

After signing for Feyenoord, Sterling said: "As a free agent, Ive had, for the first time in a long time, the opportunity to control the next step in my career.
I wanted to take my time to speak with clubs and their Head Coaches to better understand the role they envisioned for me and ensure that I can add real value in this next chapter.
Having spoken in great detail with Robin, Im confident that Feyenoord is a place I can be happy and establish myself as a valued member of the team.
Playing abroad is a whole new challenge for me and one Im ready to embrace. Honestly, Im just excited to get started.
To Feyenoord and particularly Robin and Dennis, thank you for your patience and professionalism as I navigated this process.
