Ed Sheeran was the star attraction as he watched Ipswich Town in action against Tottenham Under-21s on Tuesday night - and football fans love it.
The I Dont Care hitmaker is a die-hard Ipswich fan and attends games whenever he can but his busy schedule does not always allow for such freedom.
Ipswich were taking on Tottenham Hotspur Under-21s in the EFL Trophy, and with his record-breaking Divide tour recently coming to an end, the popular star decided to head down to Portman Road to watch his team.
And he came away with a smile on his face after watching them win 2-1 courtesy of two Jordan Roberts goals in the second-half.
Sheerans tour went on for around two-and-a-half years and included seven nights at Wembley Stadium before coming to a close with four nights in Ipswich's Chantry Park last month.
But with his homecoming show now all complete, he will be hoping to see more of the Tractor Boys as they look to win promotion from League 1 after suffering relegation last year.
Sheeran will now embark on an 18-month break before announcing his next move.
In the meantime though, taking in his beloved Ipswich must be high on his agenda in the coming weeks and months.
I grew up in a place called Ipswich, Ipswich have a football team called Ipswich Town, Sheeran once said.
I enjoy watching football, [but] my dad's a Chelsea fan so I go with him every now and then.
The singer has posted several photos of himself attending Ipswich matches on his Instagram, fully clad in their kit.
Sheeran also has a penchant for donning national team jerseys during his stadium tours, having recently sported the Argentina kit and Uruguay kit during his shows in the two countries, respectively.
After hearing about his attendance for the EFL Trophy game, football fans took to social media to express their delight.
That is dedication for you, wrote one fan.
Great to see Ed at the game, said another.
While one fan wrote: Good to see a world star like Ed still supporting his local team.
Lets hope he can help the boys get over the line this season by turning up every week, wrote one Ipswich fan.
Ipswich are not back in action now until September 14 when they welcome Doncaster to Portman Road in League 1.
They currently sit top of the table after making an unbeaten start to their league campaign.
