Premier League clubs have issued their released and retained lists and several stars from across the league are set to become free agents.
The close of the 2025/26 season has seen a number of players receive their well-deserved farewells from clubs they have given everything to in recent years, but for one reason or another, have not had their contracts extended.
However, not every player got their moment in the spotlight send off and instead the futures of some of those talents whose contracts expire at the end of June remained either secretive or undecided behind the scenes.

But the immediate future of players who have no signed contract extensions with their respective clubs beyond the end of June, have found out their position, and many supporters will now be left gutted that their favourite player has left, or full of hope that their club can pick up a bargain free transfer.
There also remains a scramble for teams to seal fresh terms with players out of contract before rivals are able to get wind of the situation and make a swoop of their own.
It's been known for some time that the likes of Casemiro at Manchester United, Bernardo Silva and John Stones at Manchester City, and Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson at Liverpool would be departing, but the announcements on Wednesday left a number of surprise names without a club.
