Jack Grealish drops cheeky Declan Rice transfer hint with West Ham and Man City video

Jack Grealish may have inadvertently let slip about Declan Rice's transfer destination after he liked a funny video about West Ham and Manchester City on social media

Manchester City star Jack Grealish has dropped a major hint about where his England team-mate Declan Rice could be headed.

Rice is currently the hottest property on the transfer market with Arsenal, Manchester United and City all having enquired with West Ham about signing him this summer.

The Gunners have already had two bids knocked back and now look set to be challenged by Etihad executives, while United are outsiders as they reportedly mull over a unique offer including two players plus cash.

It remains to be seen where he'll end up come the start of next season, but it seems Grealish may be confident of him becoming his club and country colleague.

That's because he liked a video on Twitter created by a West Ham fan titled 'Westchester City'. The one minute 40 second long clip jokes about the two club's connections and similarities with the song 'We Go Together' from Grease playing in the background.

It was originally shared back in April after the Hammers pulled off a comeback to draw 2-2 with Arsenal, which cost them vital points in the title race with City.

Another supporter re-uploaded it in light of the news that City are nearing an agreement to sign Rice, and that's the post which Grealish has since liked.

The transfer is set to cost in the region of 100million, the same as Grealish's price tag from 2021.

City are claimed to have offered Rice a contract worth 200,000 a week.

It'll come as a major blow to Arsenal, with their fans left furious at being beat having been the first to the punch after the window opened last week.
