CBS Sports host Kate Scott experienced a clothing mishap during the broadcaster's Champions League coverage on Wednesday night as the glamorous host left the studio stunned.

The 44-year-old was presenting live from the studio alongside a panel of ex-players, such as Arsenal icon Thierry Henry, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and ex-Man City star Micah Richards. Former Fulham and Tottenham midfielder Clint Dempsey also joined the discussion, with the American offering up his insights following another thrilling European night.

However, just as Dempsey made his entrance to their studio, an embarrassing moment unfolded involving Scott. The stylish presenter leaned across the desk to give Dempsey a fist bump before then realising her outfit had torn during that movement.

Scott quickly tried to remedy the situation by sitting back down and placing her hand over the rip. After catching sight of the camera, Scott confessed to her studio colleagues that she had damaged her garment.

Scott said: "I just broke my top," while Henry, Carragher and Richards chuckled at the unfortunate mishap.

Henry said: "Really?" before Richards quipped: "Now you know how it feels. Give us a stretch, Kate!"

Nevertheless, Scott maintained her professionalism as she informed viewers about CBS' remaining programme schedule.

She announced that the team would be discussing Italian football with Juventus great Alessandro Del Piero.

The incident became an online sensation, though, with one supporter spotting the problem and commending Scott, commenting: "Kate Scott with the cat-like reflexes to save her top."

Meanwhile, another praised Scott's composure during the awkward moment, confessing: "Kate might be the best in the business."

Richards is well-acquainted with experiencing clothing disasters himself.

He was commentating on Barcelona's visit to Benfica, in January, when a dramatic winner from the Catalan outfit caused him to leap up and burst a button on his jacket.

However, that wasn't Richards' most embarrassing clothing mishap, with his greatest blunder occurring in October 2023 when he attempted to copy Kylian Mbappe's celebration, only to end up splitting his trousers instead.

The ex-City player, therefore, didn't hesitate to highlight the numerous awkward incidents he's endured while broadcasting live for CBS Sports through the years.
