Ruben Amorim's wife, Maria Joao Diogo, is reportedly unhappy in Manchester.

Maria, and their two kids, followed the Manchester United boss to Manchester late last year when he swapped Sporting CP for the Red Devils. However, she has reportedly not taken well to the north of England.

And according to The Sun, rumours at the United training ground suggest that Maria is struggling to settle. It's another blow for Amorim, who is struggling to get a tune out of his United squad.

Maria isn't the first WAG to take a dislike to Manchester. Jorgelina Cardoso, the better half of Angel Di Maria, was also not too keen on the city.

"I didn't want to go, I told him to go alone. 'Let's go both of us', he replied... We were friends with Gianinna Maradona, Sergio Aguero's wife, and we travelled to Manchester on vacation for a year.

"It was always horrible! We came home and I said: 'If you're ever transferred, make sure it's anywhere in the world but England'. I didn't like it at all... I can tell you. People are all weird.

"You walk around and you don't know if they're going to kill you. The food is disgusting. The women look like porcelain."

Jorgelina's dislike of the food is shared by Sara Gundogan: "Sorry, Im sad to be honest but nothing. I tried so bad to find a good restaurant but horrible food everywhere.

"Cant find a real Italian or good sushi or just fresh food everything frozen. Restaurants here are focus on making money with drinks and shots like nightclubs, not quality food. Maybe in London but in Manchester nothing. Im sorry."

However, she has since admitted she was wrong and even missed Manchester during Gundogan's short spell at Barcelona.
