Manchester United icon Steve Bruce has revealed he would keep Andre Onana in the Red Devils starting line-up, despite his mistakes starting to rack up.
Onana was again at the centre of attention on Wednesday evening, when he gifted Galatasaray two goals in a must-win Champions League clash. The Red Devils only left Istanbul with one point, leaving them in desperate need of a win against Bayern Munich.
"United have given themselves a mountain to climb in Europe now. I think that's the eighth time this season that they've conceded three goals in one game," Bruce told Ladbrokes Fanzone.

"Andre Onana is playing in such a vital position, and an unfortunate one, because mistakes lead to goals. It looked as it he'd battled through that bad patch, and he's been performing very well recently.
"But he's made mistakes again, and it's something he'll have to deal with. It's part and parcel of being a goalkeeper; the great ones don't make that many mistakes. I can count on one hand how many big mistakes Peter Schmeichel made in his career... you simply didn't see it.

"What makes these great goalkeepers great, is that they don't make mistakes. And, unfortunately, the kid's made too many."
Bruce added: "It's always a difficult one when it comes to leaving a goalkeeper out of the team, and I wouldn't have thought it's come to that just yet."
The Red Devils' form has taken an upturn domestically, and Ten Hag's side currently sit sixth in the table.
