Ex-Miss Croatia who loves wearing skimpy outfits was stopped by security at World Cup

The 2026 World Cup draw is upon us and watching on could be a Croatian model who caught fans' attention with her outfits at the last tournament

Former Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll could be keeping a close eye as her country discover their 2026 World Cup fate.

The 33-year-old model and DJ rose to fame at the last tournament for her risque outfits and was even approached by security. Croatia booked their ticket to the competition in North America last month with a victory over the Faroe Islands.

They will be placed in Pot Two for the draw, which will take place in Washington DC on the evening of December 5. At the 2022 World Cup the nation made a brilliant run to the semi-finals, only to be stopped by eventual winners Argentina.

Cheering them on all the way to a third-place finish in Qatar was Knoll, who is a regular at World Cup competitions.

The 33-year-old caught the attention of fans in 2018 when she appeared in the crowd in Russia supporting her country whilst donning Croatian-coloured outfits during matches. She was also present in Brazil in 2014.

Four years ago in the Middle East, Knoll earned the moniker of the 'World Cup's hottest fan' when she was once again pictured amongst Croatian supporters, leaving little to the imagination with her clothing.

It remains to be seen whether the model/social media influencer will be present in North America come 2026.

But it wasn't all plain sailing in Qatar as Knoll was approached by security when Croatia took on Brazil in the tournament's quarter-finals.

Croatia pulled off an unlikely victory via penalty shootout in Al Rayyan, taking the game to extra-time before cancelling out what looked to be a Neymar winner. They were perfect from the spot and progressed 4-2 in the shootout.

However before this drama unfolded, there was more of it in the stands. Knoll wore her skimpiest outfit to date at this clash, a red bra and high-waisted leather pants paired with red and white chequered accessories.

One photo showed Knoll facing the camera while making a heart with her hands. But additional photos depicted her being approached by two security personnel at the Education City Stadium.

Members of the security team seemed to ask Knoll to return to her seat, which she indicated on her Instagram story was located higher up in the stadium.

The bombshell brunette continued to share photos from inside the stadium, including one where she revealed a heart with a Croatian flag on her chest.

Knoll also shared a couple of pictures on her Instagram page of her entire outfit. She captioned the picture: "Let's go to the semi-finals!"

She defended her outfits when speaking to Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Uncensored. She said: "I am very surprised and happy by the way the fans have respected my clothing in Qatar.

"I haven't had any bad reactions so far, not even one. I've had photos with lots of people and everyone seems happy to see me.

"When I came here, I asked the locals what the rules were and they said I could wear what I normally wear as they are making special rules for the World Cup. This is why I dress this way."

Since this ordeal, Knoll has taken up DJing. Her Instagram page, which boasts nearly 3 million followers, now features videos of her entertaining crowds with her music and a snap alongside iconic DJ David Guetta.
