British tennis star Katie Boulter risked a major wardrobe malfunction as she stunned in a jaw-dropping see-through dress and told her fans to call her 'wifey'

Katie Boulter risked a major wardrobe malfunction as she stunned in an elegant see-through dress while on her honeymoon with fellow tennis star Alex de Minaur.

The British tennis star, 29, wed the world No.5 in a luxurious ceremony in Leicestershire last week and the pair have jetted off for their honeymoon to Portofino, Italy. Boulter shared stunning pics to her 346,000 followers on Instagram of her and De Minaur the day before and of their wedding.

But Boulter is glowing in her wife era as she shared snaps from their getaway, including stunning views, delicious food, and obviously a tennis court.

However, Boulters first outfit had everyone talking as he slipped into a silky white dress which had a laced see-through top, needing to be perfectly placed to avoid giving fans an eyeful.

Boulter also posted a picture of her wearing a tennis-themed Gucci swimsuit, while her husband went for the casual look with a cap and white linen shirt.

She captioned the post: Call me wifey. And her fans on social media quickly jumped to the comments section to laud her looks.

Fellow British tennis star Katie Swan said: Hottest wifey around. A second user wrote: Blimey you look fabulous in everything.

A third said: Okay these outfits Im obsessed. Another added: Soooo pretty. As a fifth lauded: Of course the honeymoon has a tennis court within a 235m radius!

The two got married in an intimate church ceremony in Old Woodhouse, Leicestershire, near the village of Woodhouse Eaves where Boulter grew up.

De Minaur drove a black Porsche Carrera to the church, with Boulter as his passenger. Its said the ceremony was only attended by family before celebrations continued at a local pub.

Boulter posted a gushing message to her Instagram alongside snaps of her big day, saying: Moments that will last a lifetime. To my family, to my new family, to my maid of honor, to our MC, to my bridesmaids and to all the guests who came from around the world to celebrate us. Thank you & we love you.

De Minaur reflected on his wedding day, saying: It was an amazing time. [It was] everything we could have ever imagined.

It was like our own little movie. We were able to celebrate with family and friends and have a very small honeymoon, which consisted of two days. Then we're on a flight here to Washington and getting our heads screwed back on and back to being tennis players.
