Emma Louise Jones has landed a surprise new job just days after showing off her skills that caught the eye of her fans and new employers.

The former BBC Sport host and Raceday TV regular is set to grace our TV sets on TNT Sports after she announced herself as a new presenter for the Speedway Grand Prix and World Cup coverage. Emma confirmed the exciting news just days after attempting a reaction challenge on the bikes.

Emmas dad also expressed his joy having grown up watching Speedway as a youngster, he shared: I think this is the most proud my dad has been of me. He was like 'Emma I used to go and watch that as a kid, I love it'.

Speedway bikes accelerate from 0-60mph in just one second, quicker than a Formula 1 car, making for entertaining racing. However, Emma admitted that while she was interested in giving the sport a go, horror injury stories put her off.

She revealed: "I said I would like to have a go, that would be brilliant. But then everyone started reeling off about the injuries that they had sustained from racing. I was like 'OK might swerve it'!

"But genuinely I would actually like to have a go. Seeing the track at the media day, I don't shy away from having a go."
