WWE star Nikki Bella announces birth of baby boy hours after twin sister Brie

Nikki Bella has announced the news that she has given birth to her first child just hours after her twin sister Brie announced the birth of her second child with her partner

WWE star Nikki Bella has announced the birth of a baby boy just a day after her twin sister Brie did the same.

Nikki posted an update on Instagram on Sunday evening to reveal to fans that she had welcomed her first child into the world.

Alongside a picture of the baby holding her and fiancee Artem Chigvintsev's hands, Nikki wrote: "7/31/2020 Our baby boy is here and we couldnt be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy."

The news comes just an hour after her twin Brie and her partner Daniel Bryan announced the birth of their second child, posting a similar picture of the baby holding his parents' hands.

"Its a BOY!!! 8-1-2020," Brie captioned the post, adding: "We are overwhelmed with joy and everyone is healthy!!!"

Brie confirmed her pregnancy back in January after she revealed she was due around the same time as her twin sister Nikki.

The 36-year-old twins did not plan to become pregnant at the same time even though the news delighted WWE fans.

Nikki spoke of her shock at becoming pregnant in her announcement early in 2020.

"I was definitely shocked when I found out. And so nervous!" she said. "I wasn't expecting it and felt I wasn't ready but this journey of life is unpredictable.

"I thank God every day and night for bringing this amazing blessing and miracle into my life! I am already SO IN LOVE!!"

And it was a similar story for Brie, who already has three-year-old daughter called Birdie.

Wait, twins being pregnant at the same time? she told People magazine.

People are going to think thats a joke. We are both shocked.

People are going to think we planned it, but you cant really plan pregnancy!

Brie, a former WWE Divas Champion, believed it was unlikely she would have a second child and was shocked to find she was pregnant last November.
