Luke Littler and Ronnie OSullivan both ruled over their respective sport at a young age - and the Rocket, 49, had some advice for the Nuke.
OSullivan told the darting star, 18, to keep your feet on the ground, but admitted hes doing all the right things.
Littler, whos been taking the darts world by storm, is chasing another major title at the World Grand Prix after being knocked out in the opening round last year.
The reigning World Champion dazzled in wins over Gian van Veen and Mike De Decker, before being pushed hard by Gerwyn Price in Fridays (October 10) clash.
OSullivan, who knows a thing or two about handling fame at a young age, praised Littlers meteoric rise that has seen him shoot to superstardom even outside of the darts world.
The Rocket told Daily Star Sport: "Hes number one already, winning tournaments.
"Its only a matter of time before hes officially number one. I wasnt like that - I was top seven, top eight, then top four. But the kids out on his own. Phenomenal.
He continued: "I think hes pretty smart, pretty sure of himself. He knows his game. Theres no one-size-fits-all - you have to find how you work best.
Sometimes you dont need to be at your best every time, sometimes you just peak at the right time. He seems very good at working it out for himself.
I think for everyone, just keep your feet on the ground if you can - thats the main thing. He seems to have a good family and is doing all the right things.
While Littlers run at the World Grand Prix continues, OSullivans own journey at snookers Grand Prix came to an early end after a 52 defeat to Gary Wilson on Saturday.
The seven-time world champion has been more selective with his schedule in recent seasons, focusing on key events that make the most sense for him.
"Travelling over for certain events, it's not as easy as it used to be, so I have to be a bit more pick and choose about what I'm going to do, what events I'm going to play.

It just has to make sense to me. Im a bit more restricted now on what I'm going to be playing in the UK.
Hopefully Ill play the UK Championships, hopefully play the Tour Championships just before the World Championships, and then obviously hopefully play all big championships as well. That's what I plan to do, but well wait and see.
