Ronnie OSullivan left himself laughing by naming snooker starlet Stan Moodys lookalike.
Moody, 17, has taken the sport by storm since first bursting onto the scene in early 2022, where he won a match at the Snooker Shoot Out aged 15. He continued to progress with a victory in the WSF Junior Snooker Championship, which landed him a two-year place on the World Snooker Tour.
The West Yorkshireman has struggled somewhat in his first professional season, however, suffering another defeat to the experienced Dominic Dale at this weeks Welsh Open. Yet the sports all-time great OSullivan highlighted his resemblance to another current snooker star.

Offering his voice as a pundit for Europsport in Llandudno, OSullivan drew comparisons between Moody and Shaun Murphy, 41, both facially and in their playing style. And The Rocket left himself chuckling in the process.
Talking about the world No. 112, OSullivan said: He just looks like Shaun Murphy to me but 25 years younger, its unbelievable! He plays like Shaun Murphy too. The way he stomps around the table and hits the ball really firm. Hes very confident and yeah, great to see.

And others on social media agreed, with one fan on X replying: Hes not far wrong! while another joked: That is definitely Shaun Murphys son.
A third chimed in with: Mini Murphy, and a fourth added: Every time I see Stan Moody I think of a Benjamin Button Shaun Murphy scenario
Moody remained positive in his interview after the 4-1 defeat to Dale. And his attitude once more earned the praise of the world No. 1.
OSullivan continued: To see him so young, coming here and enjoying his snooker, you can see he really just loves the game and has an amazing temperament for it. You can imagine if he did find it hard [competing in the future] hed still find enjoyment in the game, you just get that impression.
