Animal Crossing: New Horizons is finally here, and marks the long-running franchises first entry on the Nintendo Switch.
Thats led to plenty of new players jumping in, with islanders wondering how best to make the most of their time in their tropical paradise.
Crafting is a key part of the experience, allowing you to build furniture, decorations, and tools to make the most of your time in the game.
Heres our guide.
Crafting is the act of taking various materials you amass over the course of your time on the island, and putting them together to create something new like a cabinet, a fishing rod, or a new mirror for your house.
Early in the game, youll unlock Tom Nooks crafting bench in the Residential Services tent. Simply bring your amassed materials there and you can turn them into anything you have a Recipe for.
Later, youll be able to craft your own workbench, too.
It seems daft, but unfortunately, you cannot craft multiple items at once in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
It's possible that Nintendo might fix this with an update in the future, but at the time of writing, it's not possible.
For the time being, you'll have to keep watching that same damn crafting animation every time you need some new fish bait, furniture or tools.
Keep those fingers crossed for an update sooner rather than later.
