Assassin's Creed Shadows in bizarre leak as game details end up on racy site

Assassin's Creed Shadows details have leaked in the strangest way possible, with pages from the game's art book uploaded to a site specialising in adult content

Assassin's Creed Shadows is shaping up excellently

Assassin's Creed Shadows is one of the biggest games set to launch in 2025, and it's well-deserving of the attention as we covered in our hands-on preview from last month.

Still, the game has been dogged by controversy since it debuted, with fans taking umbrage at the inclusion of a black Samurai, Yasuke. It's also seen multiple delays, but as it inches closer to release a massive leak has sprung from a worrying source.

As shared on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, someone has taken PDF versions of the game's accompanying art book which includes character designs, concept art, and over 200 images and uploaded them to a racy adult site.

While we'd advise not looking this up for obvious reasons, the images from the game are still there, revealing a treasure trove of information.

If you're looking to remain unspoiled before the game launches on March 20, you'd be wise to lock down your social media feeds. As per the Reddit post, story details have emerged as well as some of the game's historical figures and Templar identities.

Assassin's Creed titles have leaked before, but this is the first time it's occurred via an adult site as far as we can remember.

As one commenter responded ""Art book leaked. Oh, that's neat. On hentai website Wait, wat?"

Other games have infamously leaked via adult sites, including Rockstar Games titles and Call of Duty entries.

Publisher Ubisoft recently closed one its UK-based studios and is reportedly up for sale after a challenging few years for the company.
