Destiny 2 Calcified Light Fragment Locations for Ruinous Effigy Exotic Weapon Quest

Destiny 2 players have a new exotic quest following the weekly Reset on Tuesday

Destiny 2 players are in high spirits because following the weekly reset this week, Bungie added a new weapon into the game.

The Ruinous Effigy weapon is a new exotic Trace Rifle and the good news is that, it's not exactly hard to complete the quest to claim this new weapon.

However, there is a lot of busywork.

One part of the quest involves tracking down several 'Calcified Light Fragments' which can be found across the games many planets.

In total, players will need to grab 25 of these Calcified Light Fragments, which in fairness can be difficult to spot if you're not looking carefully.

So it seems prudent to help players discover where they need to look, especially when there's 25 to be on the look out for.

In total, players will find 5 on Titan, Mars and Mercury with a further 10 available on Io.

Players will only find these in the games main patrol zones that have a fast travel point to them. So there's no need to go searching in lost sectors off the beaten path of the map

Where to Find Calcified Light Fragments in Destiny 2

After you complete the Interference mission you will then need to hunt down the 25 Calcified Light.

To find these Calcified Light Fragments in Destiny 2, players will need to make use of their Ghost who should give players a handy a waypoint symbol that appears on the screen.

Follow these waypoints to discover the location of all Light fragments scattered across each patrol zone.

They're small, but also green crystals, which are easy to spot once you know what you're looking for.

You may need to periodically get the Ghost out to help you with finding your way.
