Time to say goodbye to your Spiritborn, Diablo 4 players. OK, you can keep playing as the new Vessel of Hatred class if you'd like, but Season 7 is here and as always, Blizzard suggests rolling a fresh character to see how you like mixing it up (although you may have already got started on the PTR 2.1)
The new season is dubbed 'Season of Witchcraft', and packs a whole host of new mechanics, as well as fresh enemies. The headline additions are four different schools of Witchcraft spells that players can wield, letting them tear through the enemies of Sanctuary even more quickly.
And, while Path of Exile 2 just dropped its own patch, it's great to have another reason to jump into Diablo 4.
Diablo 4's latest season launched on January 21 at 6 PM for UK gamers.
That's 10 AM PST, 1 PM EST, or 7 PM CET for the rest of the world. Expect some server queues as players look to login and get slaying.
Season 6 launched all the way back in October with the (excellent) Vessel of Hatred, so it's been a little while since we've had new content to play.
Thankfully, Blizzard's latest season is full of content. Here are the headlines, courtesy of Blizzard.
It wouldn't be the Season of Witchcraft if we didn't get new powers, and thankfully Blizzard is offering four new types in Eldritch, Psyche, Growth/Decay and Lost magic.
These can seemingly be slotted in among your own skills, letting you heal, harm, cause destruction and even create nightmarish visions for enemies.
New enemies, the Headrotten, make their full debut. If they drop the 'Stolen Head' item when killed, you can exchange it at the Tree of Whispers.
Speaking of which, the tree offers better rewards now, and the vendors are all closer together which is a nice change.
Diablo is nothing without fresh loot, but there are eight new Unique items to find and eight new Legendary Affixes, as well as a trio of new Runes for Vessel of Hatred owners.
Perhaps the biggest improvement is The Armory, which will let players switch between multiple builds on a character.
A new season means fresh items to earn, and the Battle Pass is getting another refresh for Season 7.
