GTA 6 fans think Trailer 2 release date could be tied to a mysterious Sony event

With reports suggesting PlayStation has secured marketing rights to Grand Theft Auto 6, some fans think a clue has revealed the release date for the game's second trailer

It's been a long year since our first glimpse of GTA 6 with the game's long-awaited first trailer in December 2023 - but a new rumour suggests we're getting closer to a second one.


While fans got carried away thinking the phases of the moon in GTA Online may reveal when the next game in the series would be back in the limelight, that didn't happen - but a new theory has cropped up in its place.


And, if it's correct, we only have a few days until we get our next glimpse of what is likely the most hotly-anticipated games of all time.

Is GTA 6's next trailer dropping next week?

With Sony's recent advertisements, the company behind PlayStation shows the date 3-12-20:24, which certainly feels like a hint at something.

But what has that got to do with Grand Theft Auto 6? Rumours have been swirling in recent months that the company has signed an agreement with Rockstar Games to secure the marketing rights for GTA 6.

December 3 marks the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand, and every Sony console has had a GTA game - could the stars be aligning?

Sony's latest console, the PS5 Pro, has been a mixed bag, too, but what better way to showcase the world's biggest game than with a reveal of what it looks like on the latest hardware?

We'll hopefully find out on December 3.
