Despite the ongoing delay of GTA 6, gamers are finding innovative ways to keep Grand Theft Auto 5 fresh and exciting. GTA Online has transformed the game into an endless playground, attracting millions of active users each month. In fact, industry estimates suggest that around 20 million players across PC, Xbox and PlayStation log in monthly.
One such player is streamer Blurbs, who boasts hundreds of thousands of followers on YouTube and Twitch. Known for his modding skills on games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Skyrim, his latest endeavour on GTA V has caught the attention of fans.
His followers are all singing from the same hymn sheet, expressing their desire to see Blurbs' modifications included in GTA 6 - whenever it finally hits the shelves.
Blurbs detailed his mod in a YouTube video, explaining how he crafted a scenario where NPCs attempt to sue the player for trying to run them over. He even incorporated police incident reports and insurance fraud trials featuring a jury.
Inspired by suggestions from his followers, Blurbs kicks off his video showcasing the mod: "It's no secret that no one does mods like GTA 5. But if you really think about it, what's the one thing they're all missing? Insurance fraud."
After making some adjustments to prevent virtual animals from taking legal action against players for allegedly running them over, Blurbs successfully created his GTA courtroom spectacle. He excitedly declared: "Oh, that's so cool. Prosecution, judge, and jury.
"Okay, we have our courtroom drama. We're being sued. We're filling out a form. These are the types of questions that you guys can add.
"It can either be a text box or a multiple choice, and I will have to fill them out."
Gaming enthusiasts were absolutely stunned by the modification, with one YouTube user gushing: "I would love to see a whole a** series of just Blurbs Courtroom shenanigans like a sort of Law & Order: Blurbs."
Another viewer raved: "I need to see more of the courtroom mod. It's absolutely gold."
Meanwhile, over on Reddit, one user suggested: "This has to be a random event in GTA 6." A fellow Redditor quipped: "Rockstar took 10 years to add more cars; this guy added the entire legal system."
A third Reddit contributor chimed in: "Now I genuinely want a serious version of this mod where whenever you're busted, you are properly taken to court instead of a game over, with prosecution/fines and all. That would be so cool."
Plenty more gamers shared similar enthusiasm. One proposed: "We need a court system in GTA 6. Like we hit a guy crossing the street then a week later we get served papers and have to hire a lawyer or vice versa with scams.
"This would be huge for the online RP aspect too." Yet another pleaded: "Please be an option in GTA 6"
Despite the eagerly-awaited sequel being delayed until November 19, 2026, Blurbs' mods ensure that the game's fans continue to have fresh content to savour even without playing the game.
