Nintendo Switch 2 is 48 hours away, as well as Mario Kart World, and it's easily the biggest release of June.
While some retailers are offering midnight launches with 'limited stock', however, anyone that hasn't preordered the new hybrid console yet might find themselves out of luck.
As spotted by VGC, one Reddit user has shared images of "Out of Stock" signs that Nintendo has seemingly provided for the new console to let customers know they'll need to wait for a restock, meaning if you've not bought one yet you might be waiting for a little while.
Here's all we know.
Over on Reddit, the user said "Got these signs in from Nintendo, they got jokes", calling to mind the Wii shortage from a few console generations ago.
"Its excellent advertising once stock does run out," one user commented, while another joked "I like how its one from nintendo but not from the store itself", suggesting Nintendo is pretty confident its new hardware will sell out.
"Do they say in stock on the reversed side?" one user asked, and the poster confirmed that it does, so hey, maybe it's just the wrong way round.
With the console just days away, it remains to be seen how quickly it'll sell, but we'd be very surprised if you'll be able to just walk into a store and pick one up off the shelf anytime soon.
If you're stuck on the first Nintendo Switch, at least you know you'll get to play a whole host of games. We've got a list of our favourites, including hits including Mario, Link, Samus and more, meaning there's more than enough to keep you busy until you get to play a Switch 2.
For more on Nintendo Switch 2, be sure to check out when it'll get a Pokemon title, as well as the games we can't wait to play again on the new console.
We went hands on with the new console in April, and came away mightily impressed and couldn't bring ourselves to cancel our preorder.
"I was all set to have that sweet, sweet moolah back in my account by the weekend, but I simply couldnt do it," I said at the time.
"The Switch 2 is a more impressive upgrade than I (and perhaps others) had given credit for, and while Im sure Nintendo has much more to show us in the months to come, I feel like the launch window line-up is strong enough to warrant a purchase already."
Expect plenty more Switch 2 coverage in the days to come.
