The PS Plus 'Essential' tier might be the cheapest one available, but it's served up some bangers over the last few months. While fans were indifferent on Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Payday 3, last month saw Dragon Age: The Veilguard join the roster just months after launching.

Given these titles are logged to your collection permanently (unlike the Extra and Premium titles), fans will have been delighted to get a hefty RPG to play through.

Naturally, eyes are now on April 2025's lineup, and while fans have lofty expectations after last month, we know when Sony will reveal the new games. Here's the PS Plus Essential reveal time for April 2025.

The PS Plus Essential Games for March will be revealed on Wednesday, March 26, at 3:30PM UK time - so we're almost there.

Usually, the games go free in the store the first Tuesday of the month, so we expect you'll be able to download them by around 10am on Tuesday, March 4.

As for which games will be included, the same names keep coming up from the community. Assassin's Creed: Mirage is a popular pick over on the PS Plus subreddit, as well as A Way Out which comes from the developer of Split Fiction.

Atomic Heart is also requested a fair amount, as well as Hi-Fi Rush, but unlike in prior years Sony appears to have clamped down on leaks for the most part.
