PlayStation Plus members are on tenterhooks for the release of the free PS4 and PS5 games set for July 2025. The forthcoming line-up, due to drop on July 1, is headlined by the treasure-hunting dungeon crawler, Diablo 4.
These fresh picks will take over from the current roster, which features NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark, and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. With the June selection valued at a whopping 140, this serves as a last call for gamers to bag these titles into their PS Plus collection.
The timing for the July PS Plus games couldn't be better, especially with Diablo 4's new season about to kick off. Diablo 4 Season 9, dubbed Sins of the Horadrim, will go live on July 1, just hours after Diablo 4 makes its PS Plus entrance.
This new season brings a bounty of new rewards, boss fights, spells, and Nightmare Dungeons. Alongside Diablo 4, PlayStation Plus members can also download and play the 2D brawler, King of Fighters 15.
First launched in 2022, the latest chapter of King of Fighters sports a revamped visual style, a roster of 39 characters, and 3-vs-3 team-based action. It also offers a story mode and cross-platform play for those who love online multiplayer, reports the Express US.
Completing the trio is the indie adventure game Jusant, from the makers of Life is Strange. Unlike its predecessor, Jusant is a climbing game where players aim to ascend a towering structure.
Sony explains: "Jusant is an action-puzzle climbing game and a meditative journey to the top of a tall tower. Challenge yourself at your own pace, explore different paths, and unravel the secrets from a bygone civilisation.
"Master your climbing tools and watch your stamina meter to successfully navigate this mysterious and changing tower."
Those who relish fully exploring games are encouraged to discover alternative routes to reveal secrets about the enigmatic civilisation central to the story.
The July PS Plus games will be available until 5 August, after which they'll be replaced by a new selection of PS4 and PS5 titles.
