But rather than hit the bars of the sunset strip, hundreds take to the seas instead, floating out into the glistening water to watch and applaud as the long, hot days descend into an all-night party.
And with the recent rise in beach clubs and day parties (as well as night) on the White Isle, the boat party scene has never been hotter.
Pukka Up is the worlds biggest and most popular sunset boat party brand on the island and famous for bringing the top name DJs and scorching clubbing atmosphere to the high seas.
And with events starting at 5.30pm, their impressive vessels are the perfect place for clubbers to let loose and dance until the sun goes down.
Becky Meigan and pal Paula Livie, both 23, are from Montrose, Scotland, on a girls holiday and couldnt wait to hit the dancefloor on the boat.
Becky tells me: Its just something you have to do in Ibiza now. The island is so beautiful you want to see it from the water. Its the perfect backdrop.
Everyone said that the Pukka Up parties were the best so we thought wed give it a go. Its been so much fun.
And the atmosphere on the boat makes it easy to make party pals.
Natalie Shard, 20, from Kings Lynn, Norfolk, says: Weve met so many people here, its such a good laugh. The music is brilliant and everyone is super friendly.
One of the most raucous groups on the boat are a gaggle of girls at the front who have even more reason to let their hair down.
Alice Ross, 27, from Nazeing in Essex, is on holiday with 10 girls for her hen weekend.
She grins: I cant believe Im getting married in exactly one month! Ive always loved Ibiza so it was the perfect place to let our hair down.I came on the boat two years ago and it was the highlight of my holiday so I wanted to come back with all my friends.
As well as being an unforgettable party, tickets on the Pukka Up boat are great value too, as organisers have teamed up with major clubs Pacha and Amnesia to let you into a superclub for the night once the boat party ends.
Theres even a day ticket option which gives you entry into Ocean Beach Ibiza, the most popular pool party and day club on the island.
Events manager Josh Makinson says, like all brands in Ibiza, they are constantly evolving to make the experience better for holidaymakers year on year.
He says: Each year we try new things and improve, bringing better DJs in and promotions so that the clubbers have the most talked-about experience.
Zeetara Simms-Smith, 22, from Manchester, Niqua Simms, 23, and pal Iesha Louie, 23, both from Birmingham, are loving it.
Zeetara says: Were using our ticket for entry tonight and then heading to Ocean Beach tomorrow. Ibiza can be expensive but this is a really good deal.
The music and the vibe out on the ocean is so magical, its a different atmosphere to the clubs. We love it.
And of course for lads on the pull, its a great way to eye up the talent.
Cain Jordan, 27, a factory machinist from Middlesbrough, grins: The boat is full of so many sexy girls in one place so of course thats a good thing!
Everyone is up for making friends. We met a group of Dutch guys and girls and are now off partying with them tonight at Pacha too.Its brilliant.
Its not just Brits whove heard about the Pukka Up brand. Marcella Donatelli and Bianca Tiegas, both 18, have travelled all the way from Sao Paulo, Brazil, to party Ibiza-style.
Bianca says: Ibiza is famous for the best sunsets and the best DJs. This is the best way to see the island as well as having a great time. No brainer!
And Maria Delpino, 27, has travelled from Argentina to work with Pukka Up this summer as a dancer.
She says: Ibiza is beautiful and the people are always happy. With everything going on in the world, its so nice to be in an environment where everyone has a smile on their face.
