If you want cant handle the hoards of Glastonbury revellers and dont fancy the cost of a ticket to Coachella, then Lincolnshire-based Lost Village is the perfect alternative festival for you.
Taking place over the August bank holiday weekend, 10,000 people leave their normal lives behind to descend upon an abandoned woodland for a truly ethereal experience.
As festivals go, this ones a baby. It started out as the brainchild of DJ duo Jaymo and Andy George back in 2015 to deliver an immersive and at times unnerving theatrical fair.
Intrigued? Here are eight reasons why you should cram Lost Village into your summer festival calendar.
1. Off-beat beats
You wont find commercial chart toppers here, but you will find some of the biggest techno, house and disco names as well as a smattering of underground acts.
The line-up for 2017 boasted headline acts from legendary eighties hip hop trio De La Soul, electronica duo Moderat, house DJ Dixon and former dentist turned techno head Nina Kraviz.
2. Mouth-watering street food eats
Hailing from all edges of the globe, the incredible bites on offer at Basecamp and the Burial Ground are not to be missed.
Whether youre craving a cheese toastie as your hangover fix, fancy a bulging Mexican burrito or want to chow down on some traditional Hanoian noodles from Vietnam you will be sure to find something that tickles your fancy and tantalises your tastebuds.
3. Woodland raves
Lost Village isnt your typical stage-in-field kind of festival. Instead you can explore the sprawling woodland behind the main arena which is littered with Pagan totems and spiritual symbols.
Forget your way as you follow the winding tracks and discover new tunes blasting from hidden raves deep in the forest.
Featuring old huts and dilapidated buildings, dance your way from the Abandoned Chapel to the Forgotten Cabin and on to the Bureau of Lost for pumping tunes throughout the night.
4. Immersive theatre
Adding to the enchanting experience, youll meet characters in the woods who will beguile you with their interweaving stories.
Some, like the Alchemist, might take you through a rabbit hole and give you a secret concoction which promises to help your festival experience along. But only if you can find them.
5. Flowing drinks
Whether you want to get freaky at the Kraken Tiki bar or enjoy a full-bodied red at the Argentinian wine bar, you never be lost for a good watering hole in the Village.
6. Boutique glamping
For the more bougie festival-goer or one who simply cant give up their home comforts the Boutique Sanctuary offers everything you could have dreamed of, and more.
Boasting a range of tipis catering to different group sizes (and budgets), hot showers (yes, really), better toilets (bye bye portaloos) and even a hair and make-up studio, youll never want to rough it in a tent again.
Inside the towering Grand Tipi, youll find real beds complete with pillows and duvets, towels, electricity sockets for all-important phone charging, deck-chairs for sunbathing outside, a clothes rail with hangers and mirror and even your own cowhide rug.
7. Thought-provoking talks
If youd like a break from the banging beats, the Institute of Curious Minds lays on a series of live talks, debates and interviews to stimulate your creative intellect amidst the chaos.
8. Detoxing delights
If you want a break from boozing theres plenty of of more wholesome things you can get stuck into at Lost Village to work on your wellness.
From yoga classes where you can perfect your downward dog to the chilling vibes of the Lake of Tranquility you wont be stuck in your tent sweating off that hangover.
