The top ten European locations for a summer soiree have been revealed with British favourite Benidorm topping the list for the best place to cut loose on a weekend getaway with your mates.

By factoring in the price of a pint, a cocktail, and a coffee for those caffeine addicts as well as accommodation prices, number of clubs and the highest temperatures, the experts at Winston Beds have created the ultimate guide to where offers the best bang for your buck across Europe.

Taking the gold star is Benidorm, with more than 30 clubs to choose from and the lowest pint price at just 2.25 (1.90). For accommodation, rooms in Benidorm can be found for just 67 per night (56.69).

Coming in second with the silver is Ayia Napa in Cyprus - its forecast to have the highest temperatures in June with an average of a sweltering 30 degrees, and also scored well on the price of a pint coming in at 2.76 (2.34) and accommodation 69.96 (59.19) per night.

The bronze medal went to Tenerife, which despite its lower temperatures came through with low price pints (1.69) and 28 clubs to choose from.

Surprisingly, the popular party hotspot of Ibiza came in at eighth on the list - almost at the bottom of the pile! According to the expert researchers, this is due to its relatively low June temperatures, coming in at just 26 degrees. However, it did offer the cheapest price for a cappuccino at just 2.67 (2.26) - perfect for anyone needing a quick pick me up before or after a heavy night of boozing.

However, accommodation and alcohol in this party paradise will cost you. Finding a place to kip will run you about 200 (169.22) and the cost of a pint is a whopping 3.50 (2.96)

At the bottom of the pile is the coastal town of Saint-Tropez in France, due to its pricey beer and even pricier accommodation.

Those visiting can expect to pay over 400 per night in a hotel and 5 for a pint of beer. Its also got the lowest temperatures - just 24 degrees forecast in June - so not great for those wanting a long warm summer night out.

Between the highest and the lowest ratings theres a huge range of places to go if youre keen on a bender.

Magaluf, or Shagaluf as its been lovingly dubbed, came in fourth on the list nestled in the middle with Laganas in Zante and Split in Croatia following behind in sixth place.

The Greek Islands of Kos and Crete ranked seventh and ninth with Kardemenia and Malia being popular hotspots for party goers to visit.

Kos even made the top of the list for the lowest cost of accommodation but was dropped down in the rankings due to the cost of a pint and the number of clubs - its also the priciest place for a coffee with partiers having to cough up a whopping 4.33 (3.66) for their caffeine fix.
